Also ideal for medical, nursing, and other healthcare students requiring OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens and/or Universal Precautions certification for rotations.

All occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials (OPIM) places workers at risk for infection with bloodborne pathogens.

OPIM includes: semen, vaginal secretions, cerebrospinal fluid, synovial fluid, pleural fluid, pericardial fluid, peritoneal fluid, amniotic fluid, saliva in dental procedures, any body fluid visibly contaminated with blood, any unfixed tissue or organ from a human, and HIV- or HBV-containing culture medium or solutions.
